Hijack Run

In Hijack Run, you play as a driver racing against time and obstacles to fight bosses and get a good high score. Players have to dodge obstacles and defeat bosses to rack up points - however make one wrong move and it’s game over. This game was developed by our team: Callum Heap, Sean Cross, Jacob Scott, Darcy McCully, Ian Sutherland and Karl Prouse. Our goal for this game was to give players a fun and engaging gameplay experience with a low barrier to entry by using simple and intuitive controls. We built this game around the main goal of creating a flow-state chill but fun gameplay experience, and added the elements of the driver, boss tank, traffic obstacles and unlimited increasing speed to give the player a growing sense of challenge as they progress.
